Jordan Ayew β Crystal Palace
Jordan Ayew scored the only goal as Crystal Palace defeated Watford 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday. The Ghanaian forward has now scored twice in a row, after he won Palace the derby against Brighton last time out. This is now Ayewβs best goal scoring campaign since 2014/15, when he was with Lorient in France.
John Boye β Metz
Ghana defender John Boye was the hero for Metz as his goal secured three points in a massive relegation clash. The 2-1 victory over Nimes put Metz seven points clear of their visitors, who occupy the relegation play-off spot in Ligue 1. Boye scored in the 81st minute to win the match.
Samuel Tetteh β LASK
Samuel Tetteh is having a season to remember in Austria. His LASK side are top of the table and through to the last 16 in the Europa League. Tettehβs side beat Mattersburg 1-0 over the weekend, with the Ghana striker grabbing the assist. Next up, Manchester United!
Benjamin Tetteh β Sparta Prague
The Prague Derby took centre stage in the Czech Republic this weekend and our boy Benjamin Tetteh stole the limelight with a goal. Sparta are typically the weaker of the two capital sides, but Tettehβs 80th minute goal had the away side dreaming. Sadly, Slavia scored in the 92nd minute to deny Tetteh a winner.
